Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes is the subject of interest to Spain's two largest giants, Barcelona, and Real Madrid. In addition to facing each other on Saturday, October 24, the arch-rivals are also believed to come head-to-head for the 26-year-old Portuguese, as per English reports.

There have been rumors that Fernandes had a bust-up with his manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. It remains unclear whether there is any truth in it, but according to The Sun, Barca and Madrid are both closely monitoring the situation and are ready to swoop for the highly-rated penalty-kick specialist.

The Portugal international moved to Manchester United from Sporting Lisbon in January 2020. The Premier League side reportedly paid $65m for him. Fernandes has since managed to greatly improve the Red Devils' midfield area and he has even become a key player of the team. His contract is until the summer of 2025.

Bruno Fernandes-Ole Gunnar Solskjaer: The denial

Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has however denied the recent talk of him having an argument with Bruno Fernandes. When the Norwegian manager was asked about the matter during a pre-match press conference, he stated the team has to remain united.

“It is one of those things that you have to get over as soon as you can and move on. We know any little chance from outside, you want to create a division. I think Bruno spoke really well the other day about we are United, we have to stay together. We can’t listen to everyone outside, we’ve just got to get on with it," Solskjaer said.
