The CONCACAF Champions League returned on December 15, 2020 with the quarter-finals of the tournament. Eight teams tried to win the most coveted trophy in North America, Central America and the Caribbean. However, only one became the new Concacaf Champions League 2020 winners: Tigres, who beat LAFC 2-1 in the final at the Exploria Stadium.

This tournament has gotten better and more interesting by the years, drawing more and more attention in recent years, becoming one of the best competitions in the world of soccer with all the emotions it brings. Even though Mexican teams have dominated in recent times (ie. América, Cruz Azul, Pachuca and Monterrey), every year more teams are ready to dethrone them.

Back in the day, the competition was harder, with teams from Honduras, Costa Rica and more nations winning this championship. Today, we’re going to take a look at all the teams that lifted the Concachampions trophy since its foundation. The tournament has changed its name, format and of course, its champions.
