The Simpsons have gotten a reputation for being a bit of the modern-day Nostradamus but did they actually predict that Donald Trump would get Covid-19?

More often than not, it seemed like The Simpsons and its writers have a crystal ball. Shockingly and far-fetched as some of their predictions could seem at first, they've actually been ahead of real-life events years in advance, including Donald Trump becoming the President of the United States.

Needless to say, people have made a habit out of Googling whether The Simpsons predicted, well, pretty much anything surprising that happens nowadays, including Donald Trump getting Covid-19.

That's why it wasn't strange to see that millions of people flooded Google with Simpsons-related queries in the wake of Donald Trump's Twitter announcement of he and his wife isolating in quarantine due to Covid-19.

This time, however, not even the famous TV show could see that coming, as there's absolutely no reference whatsoever of Donald Trump contracting any kind of disease in any of its 31 seasons.

The Simpsons Predicted Trump Escalator Scene

Matt Groening's show actually predicted Donald Trump would become the nation's President and even described a scene from one of his rallies years before he even announced his intentions to run for office.

The Simpsons Predictions That Came True

Even though they didn't show Donald Trump contracting any kind of disease, The Simpsons did predict that Tom Hanks would be infected by an exotic virus that would make his body ache.

They also predicted the 2014 Ebola outbreak 17 years before it happened, as well as the Horse Meat scandal, the death of Harambe the Gorilla, and even the construction of London's The Shard 14 years before the skyscraper was even built.

Obviously, most of those predictions may be nothing but spooky coincidences. Then again, there will always be conspiracy theories about The Simpsons being sent back from the future and their incredible predictions.
