Tom Brady made one of the most shocking free-agency decisions in the history of sports. Not only because he left the New England Patriots and Bill Belichick after 20 years but also because he signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, not exactly a powerhouse in the NFL.

So far, the legendary gunslinger has done pretty well in his new home and is proving that he's not a 'system quarterback' as his haters always said. However, he still needs to lead them to the playoffs.

But more than that, Brady recently admitted that he's struggled to bond with his teammates because there isn't anything you can do outside of the practice facility, which has made his job slightly harder.

Tom Brady Says He Can't Bond With His Teammates Due To Covid-19

“Social distancing, you know, you can’t do anything outside the facility together. You know, everyone’s gotta stay apart and not talk to anybody. Well that’s a really hard thing to do to develop a lot of trust and a lot of, you know, a relationship that’s deeper than catching passes and handing off the ball and so forth," Brady told SiriusXM NFL Radio.

Brady has always been a caring teammate who takes the time to get to know the rest of the team. That helps with bonding and developing rapport, and social distancing has clearly been an issue for him.

Brady Says He Wants His Teammates To Win A Super Bowl

Still, the six-time Super Bowl winner said that he's gotten to know and love some of his teammates and he wants to help them experience that rush you can only get with the playoffs and the Super Bowl:

“I think for a lot of the guys, a lot of the guys on the team have never made the playoffs,Brady said. “And that was, for me, you know I want them to experience that. It’s an amazing part of being a professional player when you get that time in the year," he concluded.

As long as Brady is under center and their defense continues to get stops, the Buccaneers will be a contender to make the Super Bowl, so perhaps is just a matter of time before those guys experience that feeling.
