Kevin Porter Jr is expected to become one of the best players in the future for the Cleveland Cavaliers, but it doesn’t seem like he’s going through a very good moment right now. The 20-year-old player set the alarms when he shared a worrisome post on Instagram.
Porter Jr asked his followers if they ever wanted to see the end of their time, something that sparked many reactions from fans and fellow ballers that reached out to Porter Jr, reminding him how important and loved he is.
Mental health struggles and depression has been a growing topic in the NBA in recent times, with more players opening up about their experiences with these situations. It’s uncertain what led Porter Jr to share this post but we hope he’s ok and looking for the help he needs to overcome any bad situation happening in his life.

Kevin Love struggled with mental health and depression
Fortunately, Porter Jr is teammates with Kevin Love, one of the most outspoken players on mental health in the entire NBA, as well as DeMar DeRozan of the San Antonio Spurs. Love revealed he struggled with these issues and had to seek help to overcome these problems.
Luckily, he’s feeling better now and is giving back to people who might be struggling with this, too. Love even has a foundation meant to help people with these problems and he hasn’t stopped trying to assist those folks in need of help.
"This is really a pandemic that nobody's talking about," he noted in April. "I can't really put my finger on something that is a bigger thief of human potential. So it's just incredibly important that we continue to speak and talk about the stigma."
Hopefully, things will go better for Porter Jr. He has a bright future ahead of him and not only the Cavaliers but the whole NBA community are sending him their best wishes.
